Well, I added the same hacky workaround there that I used for their News & Events template and for their Events archive. Namely, I set the $today variable used in these queries to two weeks ago (i.e., now minus 1,209,600 seconds).

This is one of the main reasons why I want bona fide present and future events data from them. That way I can actually test this stuff (beyond just seeing how it would be displayed).
