Hello again Kayla,


Glad I could clear some things up for you!

As far as content moving forward, I have made a list of items that you may want migrated over. I know you previously said nothing would be moved, but I wanted to verify some preliminary information:
  1. Mission Statement
    Is your mission statement still the one that can be found on the current website's homepage?
  2. Documents
    Would you like me to bring over documents such as:
    • Current Liturgical Schedule
      If you have the parish registration form, feel free to send it my way when you get the chance. 
  3. Sacramental Information
    Is the sacramental information in the bulletin correct (dates, contacts, etc.)? 

Last, I was wondering if you were wanting your website to have a Spanish version. Since you are already typing everything in both languages, we can have two versions of the website. This way, you could have English and Spanish versions of each page and post. Here is a website that we have currently done this for: https://standreparish.org.
They have a separate Spanish Menu that comes up on each Spanish page and have the Spanish version of pages (including the homepage) accessible by clicking Espanol in the top menu. 

This would allow you to add something else in the place of the English myParish app. Perhaps even the most recent 4 Mensajes del Pastor could go there.

Alternatively, you could have the Spanish version of items below the English version, similar to the bulletin items.

Hello Veronica,


All of the information on the current website can be discarded. We have a new mission statement and vision statement, that I can send in another email!


When I had spoken on the phone To Kevin Ferguson, he had mentioned having a registration page similar to the PDS page, where people would be able to fill in their information directly and then it would notify me. I would very much like that accessory. Other documents we would like would be registration for the different sacraments.


As far as the Spanish version of the website, whichever option is most convenient and user friendly will be fine. I know that we do not want the Google Translate option.


I will compose an email with the information and pages that I have put together so far.

On the "Meet our Staff" page we will have pictures of each of the staff members taken! I will upload them soon.


We had pictures of the parish taken that will be used for the homepage and other pages that I will also upload when I have them.

Please remember that the site is still in development and may need tweaks to be made. The most notable is mobile responsiveness, something we work on the week before your website's launch.
