✔ *WAIT* Do we still use Post Expirator or do we have another plugin that does something similar? They want to automate the expiration of posts since they do a lot of posts.

Why do they need such an abomination?

If I recall correctly, their queried post components and archives automatically bring in the latest posts, so this seems pointless, beyond harming user experience and needlessly wasting space on our server and cluttering the database.

Most likely they will be deleting the posts automagically, so doubtful about the server space side of things, but yeah. I didn't have the energy to fight them on it.

Oh gosh. I will ask Ryan if there is a better option. It'd be nice if WordPress would do this natively.

Better yet, clients could just WordPress how it's designed and have old posts get phased out as they're replaced by newer ones.

It doesn't seem like Post Expirator works with the current version of Wordpress and that makes it pretty simple because Expiring posts Automatically < Getting Hacked in terms of importance, so... yeah. They don't make that many posts either and they can just let them stay there and be replaced with new ones. I'll talk to them in training about it.
