✔ Homepage - Backend - Why is there a shortcode in the events when there is a category selector for the News? It should be both category selectors since they are both taking from post categories.

Both News & Events should basically be the exact same just affecting different areas (obviously), we don't even need a link selector for the Events since it will just go to the category too.

Cody Armock, Web Content Specialist at Diocesan Cody , I think I'd set it up that way for greater flexibility (and because I was probably trying to minimize the build hours).

I'll plan to update this to a category selector with an optional link (if they want to manually set a link), though. That seems significantly better.
