Agatha - Miami, FL

School/Parish - Post Single Featured image not displaying anywhere

Assigned to
Kyle Sullivan, Web Development at Diocesan Kyle S.
Notes
Blake Stapleton, Web Designer at Diocesan Blake may have some input on this and it may be changed later since I did not see a design on it, but a single post such as this one:   https://church.agatha.diocesanweb.org/parish-news/636/  | https://school.agatha.diocesanweb.org/school-news/96/
does not display its featured image except on the homepage or the archive page, meaning that it does not display when viewing that post solo. I would think and this may be where Blake Stapleton, Web Designer at Diocesan Blake differs, but I would think that either there would be a default featured image for posts, and then have the featured image for that specific post be to the left, the St. Brigid method or to just have the featured image for the post be in between the post content and the nav bar. I would think the latter would be the simplest and quickest.
But this image doesn't look right.

I'll defer this to-do until we get input from Blake.
Veronica Alvarado, Project Manager at Diocesan
Blake Stapleton, Web Designer at Diocesan Blake   and I have decided that for posts, the featured image will be to the left of the post content, similar to Saint Brigid (not buttons. refer to snip below)

  • Post header image will be the site's default featured image (design will be similar to Agatha inner pages)
  • Post header title will be "School News" or "Parish News" (to match their individual homepages)
  • Post Title above content (as seen below)
  • No Event date (because there is none)
  • No buttons below (as Agatha currently is)

I believe this is now correct and should work responsively. I've asked Cody Armock, Web Content Specialist at Diocesan Cody to ensure that this doesn't mess up an other titles or anything.

Consequently, I'm closing this task for now, but please reopen this if additional labor is requested.
