Overlay the featured image on inner pages, everything besides the homepage. It should not affect the text (title or breadcrumbs) I would imagine posts and individual homilies as well because the Homilies Page Proof has it. Color of #A77464, and opacity of 73%, over the image. The "X"s mark the spot.
