It will be another couple of weeks before a developer is assigned to your project, but I have already gone through your website's current sitemap and created a suggested sitemap with annotations, so that you can get a better idea of how we plan on organizing the flow of your information:

Some parishes like us to re-create an online version of their website's parish registration form, or like us to create other short forms for them. - Is all current information ready to be migrated or would you like us to wait until we are closer to your training to migrate your content?

Hi Veronica,
Thanks for reaching out to us. So I was told yesterday that our renewal date for our current website is April 25th. We would like to have everything ready on the new website before then so we do not have to pay a renewal fee. Do you think this will be a problem?
1. Yes this is the correct calendar link that we will use.

3. No there is a lot information we cannot use from our old website. I will also send you a map of what we came up with and maybe you can help organize some of our thoughts. I will send this over as soon as I can today.

Thank you for answering the content questions. Please send me your sitemap and I can most definitely take a look at it and make suggestions, if necessary.
As for your site, the quickest we can get your site up and running is 5 weeks, as we follow this schedule once the project has begun development:
- Weeks 1-3 | Initial Development & Content Migration
Our developer will work on your project to bring it to the 80% completion. At that point, it is ready to show you and set up a training. - Week 3 | Send Development Link & First Training
We will email you a link to the development site and ask for a time to set up your training. The training typically takes 2 hours and goes over logging in and editing your website. After the training, Diocesan will send all users their login information so that they may begin editing. From this point on, you will be in charge of content, but Diocesan will be available for phone and email questions regarding editing your website.
Please note: If you have changes to the website's approved design at this time, there may be an additional charge and time added to the feasible launch date. - Weeks 4-5 | Second Training & Finish Development
About a week after the first training, Diocesan offers an additional free, 2-hour follow up training that goes over any questions concerning functionality or design that you may have had while editing the website. It is at this time that the developer will complete the mobile responsiveness and have the website ready for launch. - Week 6-? | Launch
Once you feel comfortable with the website's design and functionality, editing the website and you have all of your content completed, we will schedule the launch with your domain owner.
Please note: Once you launch, any changes to the website's approved design and additional training sessions will be charged at the client rate of $50/hr, prorated.
I just assigned your project this morning to our developer Kyle and it is next on his project list. This means that he will be begin developing your website by the end of next week.
With our developer starting next week and our development to launch schedule, we are looking at having your website done the week of May 6.
Since this leaves you without a website for about 2 weeks, we can set up a temporary landing page that we have used with our clients before. Since you have already used your allotted design time, you may choose from one of the three attached mockups or Diocesan can edit/create a design at an additional cost.

Hi Emily,
Thank you for the content/site map you sent over! I began going through it when you sent it over and will be going through it more in depth once the site's development has began.
Our developer, Kyle, should begin working on your website later this week. I will keep you updated on when he does begin. While Kyle, our developer, will never actually never reach out to you/any client, I will be your point of contact until the launch of your website.

Good morning Emily,
Definitely begin sending it to me! That way, there isn't a scramble for it later. Instead, we will stockpile it on our end and begin moving the content once Kyle has the site ready.
We do prefer that you send the information as Word/Google Docs. If you have pictures, we ask that you reference them, but do not paste them into your documents, as it is harder to save them out then put them back in.

Hi Emily,
Just checking in to let you know that Kyle began building your website yesterday, so we are moving along quite nicely.
With your current website going down on the 25th, we will need the temporary landing page choice no later than Wednesday, April 17. This will give Kyle enough time to build it out and set it up for use by Wednesday, April 24.

Actually, May I ask specially what iFrames you need to gather? The company we are with currently are really cautious about copying. They may not give out the login information but I can ask them to send me what you need if possible.

Hi Emily,
That's great to hear about the site being able to be pushed until June! Hopefully there is no need to use the landing page and we can launch from one live site to the new site.
The great thing is that the developer is almost at the 80% point of development, at which we can show you the website. I am hoping that by early next week, we can send you the link to your site. Then, with the extra time, you can go through your new website and complete the content that has been assigned to yourself and others.
Also, the iFrame I needed was the Parish Neighborhood Presence page, although it doesn't seem to be on the new site map, so we may not need it.
