Monica - Duluth, GA

Ministry Cards - redo totally(unfortunately) since we are going to be using this as a template or stealing this theme for some other place.

Assigned to
Kyle Brown, Web Development at Diocesan Kyle B.
Notes
Steal everything from Jude's Ministry CPT and the way it is interacts with a page and while pulling this stuff from Jude, add it to a common folder so that it can be pulled easily in the future (whether that means putting it in the parent theme or something like that, so be it, whatever you think is best since it will save countless time redoing it every time, make it more consistent, prevent further to-dos, etc.)
Ministry CPT (most likely just able to be exported via ACF I would think)
  • Gutenberg
  • Single Page
  • Can create parent ministries to group them (easier to find) also possibly for breadcrumbs
  • Able to be made a link
  • When it is brought in, the excerpt is already made
  • Staff Contacts and what not
Ministry Page (Template)
  • Export via ACF and probably just able to copy over from the theme too.
Again, please add everything that you export, bring over to a separate community folder or parent theme or something like that.

Any questions with where things are can be directed to KS. Monica's theme will be copied over for another site, so we want this done right, so that inefficiencies are not propagated. Thanks.

Kyle Brown completed this to-do.

I rebuilt the ministries, then compiled all of the files into one folder. I also included a readme so there are instructions on how to install the ministries. I will add the folder to help.diocesanweb.org once I make sure it is fully functional. (It works for Monica, but I want to test it with another site, sap.diocesanweb.org)

I uploaded to the MasonryMinistries folder in the Diocesan Repository.
