1. Usually we put an overlay over the hero to make the text and menu more readable. Seems to be broken/not setup correctly here. I can fix that in probably an hour.

3. The text on the right side is set to take up 2/3 of the available width and the image takes up the remaining third with a max-width set to 400px for some reason. We could change it so both the image and the text take up 50% of the width or so.
That wouldn't take long, maybe 20 minutes.
