Good morning Veronica,
Thank you for purchasing our domain www.stjudesp.org<http://www.stjudesp.org>, but when we typed it in today, the parish: All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport, Indiana opened. This is new. It appears Diocesan also powers that parish.
Can you let us know what to do to remedy this problem? We are set to go live on Thursday, August 6.
Thanks,
Charmaine Carter MD, MTh

Good morning, Charmaine -
Because the site isn't yet launched, I didn't add any sort of redirect to the domain, but I can redirect it to your existing site today if you plan to start publishing the new domain.
When a domain doesn't resolve on a server, it may redirect to another site on that server, as you are seeing. I'll go ahead and add a redirect back to your existing site on both domains for you.
Thank you,
Mary

Hi Mary,
I sent a thank you to those who helped to review the site, and someone clicked it. We plan on going live on Thurs Aug 6 and then launching it to our Parish on Aug 10.
So, no worries. We are all set. No one will be going to that site until Aug 6 when we launch.
Thanks for getting back to me.

Hello, again -
Honestly, I should have thought to add a temporary redirect for you, we so rarely start with brand new domains that I didn't even think about that, and it took just a minute to add them. Also, it won't affect your development site at all, that is still at:

but should anyone else try out the new domain, they'll at least go to your current site, rather than wonder what happened!
When we do launch, the developer will remove that redirect and your new site will show at your new domain. It'll just be a temporary measure so that no one is left wondering why All Saints church is showing there!
