I'm building this for Mary Mother of the Church. I'll bring over what I do there into this site (and future sites that haven't specified a desire for video).

I've built a great solution for both this site and for Mary Mother. They both allow the client to pick a Hero Video (Image) (i.e., the image that would be displayed while a video loads once video is configured) that will displayed as a hero image.

I'm planning on putting this in my base child theme and using it going forward.
