The Latest Posts block is a default Wordpress block, so it is much harder for me to change. Adding in permalinks to the image is not supported by the block at the moment, so I will need to edit the wordpress files to make it work, which I believe means it will be overwritten the next time wordpress updates. If we want to have a fully customizable block, we will need to make it ourselves.
