Hi all -
Just a heads up...when you review the new site in the development server (
https://holyfamilyorlando.diocesanweb.org/) please do so from your
desktop/laptop. The mobile version has not been thoroughly synched with the
primary (desktop/laptop) version yet. Thank you!
Also, I noticed that the banner video on the home page is not working
properly - we'll investigate the issue this week.
Web Team, please note that I sent the link to our internal staff (see email
below) for their review, with the proviso that it's still being updated.
Please let me know what, if anything we can do to also be able to review
the mobile version at this time, or if we need to wait until pre-launch.

development server, *for internal review only, please*. When we do the
public launch the URL will change to the current HolyFamilyOrlando.com
address.

Your comments, suggestions and of course changes are welcome and if you can
get back to Lynn and me by next Friday (January 17) at the latest, that
would be awesome. If you have a schedule conflict, give me a call.
And please keep in mind, we’re still awaiting final content and approvals
from a number of ministries and we’re still working on it behind the scenes
and with the developer, so some links and content may be iffy, especially
with News & Events. And CCTN.org is not working due to a domain
registration and server issue.

Thank you for forwarding the email over to us.
What exactly was it about the homepage video was not working? I am not seeing anything on my widescreen desktop (Chrome 79 on Windows 10). If you could please provide us with browser and device information, we will use that information to diagnose it properly. You can check all this information by going here and sending us "Your web browser's unique URL" : https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
We are hoping to begin and complete mobile responsiveness next week, but are waiting on the finalization of the events portion of the website. This way, mobile responsiveness can be completed all at once, thus it is less likely that anything is missed.
Let us know once you are able to figure out the domain login information for CCTN.org and we can get the temporary site up and running.

I’ll check on the URL for my home PC and let you know but I’ll also wait to see if it occurs to others who are testing the site.
In the meantime, Is there a reason why the homepage banner starts with the static image of the people in front of the tabernacle before the video begins? Is that a glitch or a backup in case the video takes too long to load or doesn’t load at all?

Christine,
You are correct. The static image displays while the video is loading. If the video does not load for whatever reason (especially old versions of Internet Explorer) they will see this image instead of just a dark grey empty background.
You may edit this image at any time by editing the Homepage:
