Happy New Year! I pray that both of your holiday vacations went well.
Blake let me know that you, Christine, had reached out to see where the project was and what information/content was needed to keep the project moving at a swift pace.
He and I will be briefing the developer tomorrow morning so that he may begin working on the CCTN development site later this week. With development moving forward, we wanted to make sure that all content is in place.
Below is the new, suggested sitemap for the CCTN website. Please review the menu, make any edits or comments, and let me know when it is finalized. https://docs.google.com/document/d/15-v1AMuekQ4QADdRi4y0aBrGWyXaqgOWc014ly845Cs/edit?usp=sharing Once it has been finalized, we will begin requesting content for each page and provide you with a Google Drive folder in which you can add any content, images, or documents for the new website.
Last, upon going to https://cctn.org/ today, I saw an error message of "Website Disabled". Is there a current hosting issue that you are aware of?
FROM THE CLIENTChristine White,Marketing/Communications Coordinator
Veronica, thank you – the proposed sitemap looks good! Let’s go with it and, once I can access the current info from the temp site, I’ll be able to expedite changes as needed. I seem to recall we’ve done so to some extent already.
Fermin, just a reminder to please check on the Livestream upgrade (extra cost, timing) so that we can be ready to go when our new site is ready – I’d love to be able to get it finalized within a week of getting the development site, if we can.
I am going through and updating the temporary site this morning. I think we were able to get nearly everything we needed, with the exception of a one item: What email address should be used for the contact form?
Additionally, were you able to obtain the login information for your GoDaddy domain?
Timeline After going over everything with the developer, we are probably looking at 4-5 weeks before the link to the final CCTN development site will be sent to you and ready to train upon. This provides the developer with 3 weeks of initial development, content migration & usability testing for 1 week, and any additional development updates/tweaks for 1 week. After that, the training period begins.
Livestream Upgrade Could you please refresh my memory on which platform you'll be using? I know we had discussed Vimeo livestream but I wasn't sure if this was still the case.

Here is the temporary site that we have set up for CCTN in lieu of the new website: https://cctn.diocesanweb.org/. It is mobile responsive and editable by you at any time after the training session.
Let me know when the two of you are able to meet for a 30-45 minute training session on how to edit your temporary site.

Thank you, Tony! This should help us considerably. Veronica, I just got in and saw this from Tony. Please let me know if there’s anything else you’ll need. I saw the question re the form – let’s not worry about that at the moment, just go with what you have.
FROM THE CLIENTChristine White,Marketing/Communications Coordinator
Fermin and Lynn, we’ll need to set up time for a brief training on the new site. What is your availability next week, please? Tuesday the 14th before 4p works well for me. Or any time Wednesday.
FROM THE CLIENTChristine White,Marketing/Communications Coordinator
Wednesday would be better. Tuesday is typically heavy-lifting for PREP.

* Email address to use can be mine, at least for now. * I’m still working on getting GoDaddy – having issues getting an email to Fr. John’s personal account. * I just sent the old web files, it that helps * Fermin, please see below and confirm we’re using Vimeo livestream – we’ll use whatever version is available by the time we’re ready to launch (asap), that’s what we’ll go with. If we need to upgrade later we can.

Question – can we redirect our current cctn.org to this temp site while we’re waiting to set up the new one? What must we do besides get you access to the GoDaddy account?

Christine,
I have added cwhite@holyfamilyorlando.com as the email on the Contact form for CCTN. After the training, you may edit this at any time.
Simply let us know once you have the GoDaddy account information and we will point cctn.org to the temp site. All we will need is the domain access. Then we/you will be able to update the DNS records (A record) to point to the new IP address. The developer will take care of the rest of the launch process.
Thank you for these files. I have put them in the client folder so that Cody and the developer will have access to them.

How can I get screen grabs or pdfs of the old site pages, so that I can update and send for the new site? Will the temp site be able to point to those pages? If not, can I ask someone from your end to grab images of the pages (there aren’t many, thank goodness) and I’ll recreate/update content on my end?
