READY - Question from Training - Landing page Button

Notes
They asked in Training if they could add another button to the landing page that they have and switch the titles on the buttons currently and wondered if they could do that. When I told them not with how it is setup currently, they asked if it would be possible to make it so, I told them I would have to talk with Veronica Alvarado, Project Manager at Diocesan Veronica and the developer Kyle Sullivan, Web Development at Diocesan Kyle and see if there would be any added cost to that. They want another Button that says Our Lady of Good Hope and change the Parish to St. Henry Parish and the School to say Bishop Leibold School or something similar to that. Putting this in a to-do, so we can discuss.

I can let them pick their own titles for this, but it'll almost certainly lead to a material deviation from their approved proof and/or require further styling and testing.

For the parish, I'd be hesitant to let them have control over anything more than what the text says (e.g, href, target) because I don't want a support ticket in six months when it'd inevitably break.

The addition of another button would take a bit of deconstruction and reconstruction, but it's not impossible. Also, would this third button have any address(es) associated with it?

The long-short of it is that more than 20% of my build hours on this site have gone into this Landing Page. If they want to customize it further, the cost could further escalate quite quickly, as this would also involve a decent bit of labor for responsive design development and testing.

As you can see in the image above, the longer titles would need to be centered again to look correct.

It's not a big deal if they just want to change the titles once, but if they get into changing this text all the time, I'd need to put in some more labor to figure out how to abstract that out and center them formulaically.

I would think and the way they made it sound, seems like it would be a one-time change and I can tell them that it is a hardcoded thing.,
Kyle Sullivan, Web Development at Diocesan
Yes, let's stick with it as a hard-coded thing. That would save some labor.

Other than that, I can plan to add that extra button. But does it have any address(es) associated with it?

Let's wait for Veronica Alvarado, Project Manager at Diocesan Veronica to decide if this is going to be billed before you build (ha-ZA!), Kyle Sullivan, Web Development at Diocesan Kyle . How long do you think this will take?

Kyle Sullivan, Web Development at Diocesan Kyle , yes, let's wait to see what the cost would be for both. I'd like to present them with the options and cost of each, for them to decide.
