Training for Landing Page

Hi Joni,

I'm in and out of meeting for the next couple hours, but I did add a user account so you can update the landing page whenever you'd need it.

I will call you when I am out of my meetings, but am not sure what time that would be. In the meantime, I have given you a quick guide on how to edit the site.

Here is the login information
Please do not update the password so I may help with quick support over the weekend.
Username: landingpage
Password: #ECathedral@34285
Login Page: https://epiphanycathedral.org/venice

Here is how to add a message to the landing page
 1. Log in
 2. Go to Page
 3. Click on the page title directly or hover and click Edit to edit.
 4. Anything in the Landing Page area will display on the landing page, above Mass Times

5. Click the blue Update button to save your changes.

Here is where to update the landing page buttons
 1. Log in
 2. Click on Theme Settings
 3. Select the Landing Buttons tab
 4. Click the small pencil icon to edit any button/link or click Add Row to add another button.
 5. Click the blue Update button to save your changes.

Talk to you later,

Joni,

Code Needed to Open Link in New Tab:
Switch to "Text" while editing to view where to place the instruction so that your link opens in a new tab. It should look something like this:

Linked Text Goes Here

Thank you,

Good morning Veronica. I also sent a message to your Diocesan address, but thought I would try this one too. We are unable to access our website admin page and need access asap to update information for today and tomorrow. Can you please help us, or put me in contact with someone in your office?

Many thanks and Happy Easter to you and your family.
Joni

Good morning Joni,

I am so sorry I did not see this email come through. If it is the issue I believe it was, you should have been able to log in after 6:00 am.

By default, a security measure that we put in place is that websites are not editable between 1-6 am. This is when websites are most susceptible to cyber attacks and is also the time that we normally do any server updates.

If you are still not able to access your website or if you would like us to turn off this feature, please let me know.

Hi Veronica. Happy Easter!
No worries and thank you for responding. Mary contacted me early that morning and explained. It is a rare situation that I would need to be up that early (thank heavens). I hope you and your family have had a happy Easter.

Peace,
Joni
