Hi Joni,

I am going to CC Veronica to this email so she can comment, but we talked about the data question that you had.  You will download the data from your site so you can have it all saved before your site goes down.  We will have you download your information using a Google Drive file, and then that way we at Diocesan can have all the content ready when we start migration later in the site development process. 

We'll get that file to you so you can start downloading content. We will also show you the example landing page styles you can choose from for when your current site goes down and you need a temporary landing page - we will show you these examples at our meeting next week.

As Nathalie mentioned, in order for you to save your content, we would make a Google Drive folder in which you can create, edit, organize and add your text, files, and images from your current website. This way, once your design is approved and the site is in development, our content specialists can use this saved content to populate the new website.

You may upload documents, images, etc. if you'd like or you can create documents. For your case, I suggest creating folders for the different areas of your website. A folder system similar to this:

    • Parish News
    • Blessing Perpetual Adoration Chapel
    • School News
    • Holy Land Pilgrimage with Fr. Ricky
    • 2019 CFA (include link & video link)
  • About us
  • Adoration
  • Faith Formation
  • Youth
  • Stewardship
  • Photos
  • VBS 2019
You can add new word documents & folders by clicking the "+New" icon in the top left corner.
