Do they want to be able to customize the duration of slides separately, or do they just want to change the duration of all of the slides together?

As far as I've been able to find, the only way to have this level of customization is to rebuild the flexslider with Slider Revolution.

My guess is that it will take at least a day of labor to rebuild their simple slider with Slider Revolution, then they'll still need training, and they'll likely need to contact us every time they want to change anything in their slider.

So the way KB mentioned didn't work? Or is it just not customizable PER slide? 

They may be okay with just the ability to pick the slider length for the whole thing.

TLDR
We can change the hardcoded time, but there is not a way to make the slide time customizable as a whole or per slide.

Since this tasks seems to be resolved for now (subject to the possibility of a request to change the speed of all the slides), I'll mark this complete but welcome the opportunity to reopen it if necessary.
