This apparently is a known issue.  Good odds it will be fixed in the next plugin update.

Now that we are rolling live with the site, I went ahead and turned off the debugging notices and warnings.   Those notices are no longer displaying. Typically I would do that anyway on site launch, I just hadn't done it yet this time.

Ryan Ross completed this to-do.

Thanks, Ryan.  Hey did you give any more thought to my request to expand the number of links allowed in What Can I Help You Find?  My thought is that I could eliminate the table on this Giving page if I can fit all their links into that construct.
Ryan Ross, Developer at Diocesan
Technically, no I didn't give it any more thought.  Yesterday I moved the limit from 4 to 10, to accommodate your request to modify the page accordingly.  I felt that was a very reasonable approach and had no issues with it.

Oh, sorry I didn’t see an update on that so I assumed it hadn’t been done.

I’ll work with Dan to re-construct the page to eliminate the table (and use What Can I Help You Find” instead) and show it to the Development office to get their okay to publish.

Thank you!
Connie

Ryan,

I edited the table out of the Giving page, and used the expanded What Can I Help You Find? construct instead.  Thank you!
Below is the conversation with the Development folks regarding the change.
I'm sure their initial concerns about aesthetics will become a non-issue as time goes on. so I'm not asking for any edits to be done to the What Can I Help You Find? construct right now.  But if you don't mind spending 10 minutes thinking about how we might be able to make it "prettier", such as adding a background color or a graphic, I would appreciate feedback on whether this would require additional development cost, cause issues with mobile, tablet or full desktop display, etc.

Thank you, Jim and Marilouise.  I think this layout will serve us much better in the long run, as it conforms to the mobile standards that the site was built upon, and therefore won’t be subject to “breaking” when the site undergoes subsequent updates.

I can raise the subject to Diocesan about adding coloring and perhaps a graphic to the “What Can I Help You Find?” construct, to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

The page has been updated and is working nicely on mobile devices.

Thank you again,
Connie

Connie,

Thanks for checking on this.  For now, do what you think will work best.  In the long term, I agree with Marilouise that perhaps we can work on getting back to more closely resembling the original design as well as being functional on the mobile version if this is possible.

Dear Friends,
I find this unattractive but perhaps we can live with this for the time being…
I’m happy to work with Dan on possible modifications.
The last view as Dan modified it was lovely. The Nav box was quite nice.

The shorter line length is a plus. The “What Can I …” box is functional but not appealing.
I know we appreciate all of your very good efforts to present this as we requested.

Thank you,
Marilouise
