Subject: RE: Gravity Form Notifications - no incoming email found in our spam filter

Mary, Kyle,

It appears the problem is at the sending source, i.e. the website.

I just looked in our Spam filter and I don’t see any incoming email regarding any of our Gravity Forms since the morning of 2/11, prior to the new website going live.   The audit trail from our Spam filter would tell me if the emails were rejected, blocked, etc.  I don’t see any of that.  I don’t see any emails whatsoever.

The subject of the email from our Pre-Cana registration should be something like “New submission from Pre Cana Day of Reflection Registration (pay with credit card)”  Please see below.

What would the sending address be from the new website?

When we tested the forms (e.g. https://www.dioceseofscranton.org/media/diocese-of-scranton-calendar/submit-an-event/,) before going live, the sending address was noreply@diocesan.com.  See below (New Calendar Submission from Website)

Today (about 10 minutes ago) I used that same form to submit a test event and there was no email sent.  See below.

Please check again on your end.

Thank you,

Ryan Ross, Developer at Diocesan
Updated Email Routing in cPanel for dioceseofscranton.org to be "Remote Mail Exchanger".  Previously, it was Local.

Prior to launch, form notifications would have worked, since dioceseofscranton.org was not on our server.  After launch, these messages weren't leaving the server due to Mail Routing set to Local (which is default).

Connie confirmed receipt of a form notification after the change, and site logging and cPanel agree that messages are being sent and routed out.

Ryan Ross completed this to-do.
