Is the 301 Redirects Bulk Uploader for us, or them?

If it's for us, I would prefer we handle the redirects directly with the htaccess file.

It would be for us.
They plan on giving us a spreadsheet of their current top 100 most visited URLs and their corresponding new URLs.

I found this plugin, but if you have another way of doing it, that's way better!

Ah, okay.  In that case I'd recommend we skip the plugin approach and drop the 301 redirects directly into the .htaccess file.  We did this for Orlando when we built their site, so I can reference their .htaccess file to show you an example.

Hi Ryan,

The .htaccess file for the 301 redirects is what I’ve experienced with previous website launches.

Thanks!

The plugin would effectively write the 301 redirects to the .htaccess file behind the scenes.  I'm in favor of cutting out the middle man (the plugin) and maintaining the .htaccess 301 redirects ourselves.

You can still provide a list of those URLs and their new paths, and we'll add them to the .htaccess file accordingly.

Sounds good.

Thanks,
