Thought I would make a note on this as this had some connection to some discussion I've had this week. Cheers! Maybe a different plug-in will work and not take much time to setup.

Hi Ryan,
Just getting back around to this. Did we have performance issues with the new plug-in?
Thanks.
Ryan Ross, Developer at Diocesan
Yes, major performance issues with the original plugin.  Have not tested any alternatives.

WooChimp - WooCommerce MailChimp Integration has been installed and integrated with API key to connect to our MailChimp account.  No real settings or configuration has been established yet, so it's just idle and ready at the moment.  You guys can configure as you see fit.

Thanks Ryan! Hope there are no problems like with the other one. We'll have to keep an eye on it.

I almost have it set up. Before connecting Mailchimp to the site it provided the following:

<script id="mcjs">!function(c,h,i,m,p){m=c.createElement(h),p=c.getElementsByTagName(h)[0],m.async=1,m.src=i,p.parentNode.insertBefore(m,p)}(document,"script","https://chimpstatic.com/mcjs-connected/js/users/954ad2a9d474322b008ca5a63/d2fdadee5be7fc40a71265f87.js");</script>

Add our code to your site
  1. Copy code: Click Copy and access your site’s HTML.
  2. Add code: Choose which pages you want to connect to MailChimp, and paste in the code just before the closing </head> tag. After you're done, return to this page and click Connect.

NOTE!!! - It appears the URL above got shortened when this comment was saved. Hover the link to get the full url. Thanks.

API Key is already installed and connected.  I don't follow why you would have to connect again.  Where are you getting this code from?

From Mailchimp. Here are instructions on the WooChimp Support site: https://support.rightpress.net/hc/en-us/articles/115005272006-How-to-add-my-site-to-Connected-Sites-

I think this enables the e-Commerce email features in Mailchimp (i.e. special emails for abandoned carts etc.)

This is the same thing you did for the other plugin except Mailchimp had an automatic WooCommerce integration because it was their own plugin.

The MailChimp connection per Mailchimp Connected Sites has now been implemented.  MailChimp has confirmed the code on diocesan.com.

Curt Ankin completed this to-do.
