Elise Hilton is an author, blogger and speaker, and happily serves as Editor & Writer on Diocesan Publication's Marketing Team. She has worked in parish faith formation and Catholic education for over 25 years.
A passionate student of theology, Elise enjoys sharing her thoughts on parish communication, the role of social media in the Church, Franciscan spirituality, adoption, and Catholic parenting. Her book, "The High Price of Human Trafficking" has introduced many to the horror of modern slavery, and she is a sought-after speaker on the topic. As the mother of a trafficking survivor, Hilton has worked to educate and increase awareness on this all-too-real crime.
When she's not working, Elise enjoys traveling with her husband, a good mystery novel, and easy knitting patterns. She's happiest when surrounded by family.
