✔ Do slider images need text and links to other pages, not in design proofs, just curious on those, and if we don't then the option needs to go away.

Right now, the link text doesn't show up, but the title of the slider image acts as the link. Wondering if this needs styling or not, and how that should all work.

I would leave the option for now. Most people want sliders to link to other places. 

The issue with this is that if they don't add a link, the text still looks as if there is a link. This is something we don't want. If there is no link, don't act like a link.
