Updated Website Proposal
Good afternoon Rhonda,
I wanted to thank you and Andy for speaking with Blake and me yesterday. I'm glad we took the time to have that second Deep Dive because I believe we are now all on the same page. Following our conversation, Blake and I spoke with one of our developers and we were able to come up with a much better proposal.
The website will have the feel of the Transfiguration Hybrid Site, and will include your modifications. We are keeping the inner pages as is, the modifications will come on the homepage. Below are the requests you asked about:

The website will have the feel of the Transfiguration Hybrid Site, and will include your modifications. We are keeping the inner pages as is, the modifications will come on the homepage. Below are the requests you asked about:
- Slider - Can one of the slides have video capability? Keeping your budget in mind, this would not be feasible. Our developer stated it would be at least 1 week of work, and that would nearly double the proposal.
- Mission Statement and Mass Times - The original Hybrid Site had these in the same spot, and you would choose which option you wanted to use. We are able to seperate these out and place them in the location you wanted. (4-6 hours)
- Button Boxes - You liked the inner page button box option and wondered if that could be used in place of what is currently being shown. We can make that switch for you. (2-4 hours)
- What's Happening/Calendar section - We can do this in the following way. These will be posts with no date circles. A way to include a date would be to include that in the short excerpt. Utilizing dates would be an expensive endeavor. (4-8 hours)
- Footer - Can you include a 3rd section? - In order to include another section, we would need to remove the logo which is currently in that spot. (2-8 hours)
- You also asked how the button boxes populate - There will be one row of boxes up until 5. Once you reach 6 or 8, they will stack (3x3 or 4x4). Once you reach 7 or 9 they will start to fill from the left.
I have attached the updated proposal. Each of the modifications are listed in the Site Build section as well. If you have any questions, let me know.
Thank you!

Good afternoon Rhonda,
Blake and I met regarding your questions. I have included your questions with our answers.
Button Boxes - Will the image we use be light like what is in the inner pages., faded out or do we control how the image looks?
A: The overlay (which gives the fading look) is predetermined. Your primary and secondary colors will be used for the color of the boxes.
Calendar - Would there still be a calendar for the to see on the home page (at least a listing) and then link to the full calendar on another page?
A: The left side will be posts. For the right side, we could utilize a Google calendar that links to a larger calendar on an inner page.
Footer - What are the limits that could be in that 3rd section?
A: We would remove the logo. Once we know the information that would be utilizing that 3rd section, we can work with you on how it would be displayed. Have you thought about what you would have in this section?
Thank you!

Thank you for your response. Clarification on the image in the boxes, does it have to be faded or can it be the actual image without the fade? If not, can that be an upgrade and if so, how much?
Rhonda
I will ask the group about the 3rd box.

Hi Rhonda,
I was able to get a little more information regarding the button boxes and the overlay.
The overlay is there so you can read the words, if that overlay were removed or altered, it's more likely the words will be affected by the image that was chosen. We would not be able to alter the overlay once it is set.
Thank you!

Alan, would you please give me a call sometime this morning and if possible can Kevin be on the call. I have a committee meeting at 1:30 (CST) and I want to make sure we have the correct information to present to them. If you 2 want, you could also be on our zoom meeting if you are available. Please let me know.

Hi Rhonda,
I spoke with Blake and a developer and I hope I have answered your questions.
Image Boxes - The boxes on the homepage and the boxes on the inner page are set up to use the primary and secondary colors of your website. With the homepage box, the color over the text would be your primary color and the line that appears at the top of the box when you hover will be your secondary color. For the inner page style box, the overlays will alternate between the primary and secondary colors as they load onto the page. Each option only comes with primary and secondary colors of your website.
Inner Pages - First, you will be trained on adding and updating pages. There will be some pages that have template options you can choose from, or you can choose to build your own page using the page editor. Again, training will go over these options.
Calendar - In our quick meeting, it was determined there will be a view all to see the parish calendar. On the right, there will be a date indicator and this event will pull up the user's Google Calendar so the event can be added to their calendar if desired. I did learn the posts on the left will include an interior page for additional information.
Footer - The Quick Links section can include up to 10 links.
Let me know if you have any questions. Blake will be on the lookout if any emails come through while I'm away for my appointment, and will do his best to reach out ASAP.
Thank you!

Blake or Alan, on the boxes for the mission and calenda, can the boxes be white?

Hi Rhonda,
Blake here. When you are talking about the "boxes" for those sections, are you talking about the blue overlayed image behind the mission/calendar content? Here is the image below: Is that what you are thinking is a box? If so, it's not really a box per se, it's more of a banner section. So if we wanted it to be removed that could be something we do I would believe, since we would be redoing those sections anyway.
Let me know if that's what you were asking about or something different.
Thanks!

We were not going to have the individual boxes, it was going to e the one box with our mission statement in it. I’m talking about the blue overlay? If you want to call me at 920-475-2204, I can explain.
