Temporary Landing Page
Hi Brenda,
I hope you are well! I talked with Veronica and we can go ahead and create a temporary landing page for you when it gets close to the time of your site going down. On the landing page, we will put your mass times and basic contact info. :) Your logo and colors will replace those on the template. You can choose from one of the three templates below.

Noooooo! Thanks for checking – but we will
be in the thick of registering children for religious
ed. We require more than Mass times on a landing
page. We are a very busy parish and people
count on our site being functional.
Can you just transfer our existing site onto your
landing page?

Thanks for your reply! We can only work with the templates that I presented to you, but we can add up to 4 buttons on the temporary landing page where it would link off to religious education registration or any other functional items you need to remain on the site during the transition. :)
Let me know what buttons you want and we can make note of that for you. :)

Sorry – one more question!
Here’s the dilemma. Our service provider
will not pro-rate any services. We would
have to pay for a minimum of 2 years –
even if we only use a couple months.
The domain name is ours though.
Can Diocesan take over our domain name
and host it? They would then not need to
create a landing page – but would need to
provide service for the existing page until
the official transfer.

We had a developer here look at your site and it looks like it is a Wordpress site that we would be able to host. We are wondering if you have access to the FTP files?
With us hosting your current site on our server there are a few things we want you to be aware of:
1. It is possible there may be some minor plug-in issues once we transfer the current site to our server due to the fact that your site is older.
2. You will not have access to the plug-ins or theme editing once we are hosting your site.
3. Any support will be paid support ($50/hour) once hosting begins.
4. Hosting fees ($300/year) will begin when we move your current site to our server.
5. You can choose to have us manage your domain name for $15 per year, but this is not required. It is recommended for peace of mind and the ease of having one company manage your hosting and domain. :)
