After Training Questions
Good Morning Brenda & Fr. Steve,
I just have a couple of follow-up questions about some of the to-dos that we went over in training yesterday so that everything is clear.
- Right now the font we are using on the site is Cinzel not Trajan. It is a Google Font, which means that it helps the page load very quickly, if we have it as Trajan, we would need the license and assets for it and since that will be hosted on the server, it will be sent to each client individually (this increases data usage, slows the site, as well as other negative effects). If you still want Trajan, we will need the license and asset files to put it on the server.
- To make sure I have the notes for this correct, you want the header and footer colors to change from the current Indigo color of #262262 (1st image) to the darker #000022 (2nd image) and that you wanted the darker blue to also replace that color for headings across the site too (changing from 3rd image to 4th image). Is that correct, so change the header/footer colors to #000022 and also with the headings? I just want to make sure I have this correct before we proceed with the changes.

I just noticed – there is an icon for
‘my parish app’ that was added.
We do not have that even started in
the development yet! Please remove

Also - side question - I know you're probably not done transferring,
but I still see some disjointed info and stuff missing (just even
titles of pages per the excel sheet).
I don't want to send a list .... as you're not done yet, but when you
are, will you let me know so I can start checking?

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to do this without breaching any contracts, alternatively, we can do it if you give us the access credentials to your creative cloud:

- Access https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/trajan.
- Click "</> Add to Web Project."
- Sign In.
- Add Fonts and weights (Regular, Bold, etc.) to the Web Project.
- Click "Done."
- Your My Adobe Fonts > Web Projects should look like this when they're done.
- We would embed the HTML that's pointed at above into your website. We would just need that code.

- all the drop downs are there
- when you actually just click on About Us or I'm New, it goes to an empty page
- I would have thought that there would be picks there of the categories,
like when you press on events - the page lands on a page w/ pics
Worship and Spiritual Growth- there is no landing page for this with the pictures? Like above, I think there should be consistency ...
Under the Resources:
Contact us ... should go to office hours
maybe with the jot form at the bottom of that?
The Need aid/assistance tab:

consistency. If the main sections and a couple
groups sections are going to have
a landing page with pics - they all should.
Following the excel sheet, which I know I keep mentioning,
but it IS how I'm doublechecking content!
Excel sheet .... and I go carefully down the list, double-checking
titles, looking for wrong additions or omitions, seeing where
things open and land, etc.
Gotta fly for now! Thanks for all your work! Even with these edits,
I love how the site is looking!!

We will need the HTML code seen in step 4 where it says "To use these fonts on a webpage, copy this code..." then we'll be all set!
