I was wondering if you have decided on what you wanted to do for a calendar for the website. We recommend using Google Calendar. If you use Google Calendar, all we need is for the Calendar to be made public:

Link on how to make a Google Calendar public and then the Calendar ID, Link on how to find your Calendar ID. 

Depending on how it is done on the current site, it might be possible to export it as an "ical" file and import it into a google calendar, but we have found issues since it will add events, but it won't update the deleted events if you still update the original calendar instead of the Google Calendar. So that is something to consider.

I have added the calendar to the site and the events are displaying.   https://sumtercatholic.diocesanweb.org/bulletin-news/calendar/
The next step would be to add the other events to the calendar. The one month that you added shows up. I am not sure why you are unable to add more than one month. Is there a way to add months individually to the calendar, to save you sometime? It is at least pulling in the events and displaying them which is a good thing.

Try doing 6 months and try (hard) refreshing the calendar page. The calendar will update every two hours, I think, but I will make that 30 minutes and then we can change it back to two hours later so that it doesn't slow the site down.

Hard refreshing, brings in the new code to the page. So when you change the theme settings, if you go to the site before you log in, you need to do a hard refresh to see the admin bar at the top of the page. To make sure that the calendar is updated as much as possible on the site, doing a hard refresh is recommended. I am able to see that August has the first through third filled with events and the 31st has the "Elder Kindness Day".

Good morning Krysten,

Was the Title for the post supposed to be Lora font or was the body text supposed to be Lora? Right now, the Title matches the other headings on the site and the body (normal paragraph) text matches the other body text on pages, so if we change one of those on posts, then we should change it on the other pages.

Hello Krysten,

The body text right now is Source Sans Pro. I talked with the designer and the developer and we can definitely change it from Source Sans Pro to Lora. I think it would actually produce more consistency throughout the site and if you use Lora for your branding at the parish, then this would make perfect sense.  

I will make up a to-do for the developer to have him change the font from Source Sans Pro to Lora.
