Finishing Touches on the New Website

Good morning Daisy,

My name is Veronica Alvarado and I have been working on the content for your website.  I am so glad we were able to find and grab information from your old site to migrate it over.  It really has come a long way.

Now, to complete the content portion of the site (and get one step closer to launching the site) there are a couple things left to do.
  • myParish App
    Were you still interested in using our App? As I'm sure you know, it is a great tool that our clients use to reach out to their parishioners and students/parents. They receive quick, relevant information sent right  to their phone.
    Additionally, in the design you had approved, we have a section to show the App messages. 
    If you are still interested, let me know and I will send you another application for myParish App.
  • Google Calendar
    Right now, we have set up a calendar for your sttimspreschool@gmail.com, BUT the calendar is currently set to private so there is currently no way to show it on the site.  If you'd like, you can call Diocesan and ask for Veronica in the Web Department and I will gladly walk you through the short process.
  • Vision for Catholic Schools Link
    On your homepage, there was a link to the Vision for Catholic Schools that does not work. Here is the link that was on the old site:

    Do you have an updated link or pdf that you would like to use here?
  • Registration Form
    On the consultation notes, I have that you would like us to build you a Registration Form that can be filled out online, with the responses either emailed to you or kept on the backend (what logged in users see) of your site. In order to build this site, I would need your current registration form (PDF), changes you would like, and what email you would like the forms to be sent to. 

The closer we get to launching the new site, the more excited I get.  
I really think this new layout and design will be easier for parents to navigate and aesthetically pleasing, while still staying "on brand" with St. Timothy's Parish.

I am excited about launching our new website! Thanks for all your help. I have updated our calendar on sttimspreschool@gmail.com and it is public. Please check to make sure. I am attaching our registration form. I would like the forms forwarded to me at preschool@sainttims.org <mailto:preschool@sainttims.org> . Let me know what else you need to get this going. I am hoping we can launch it in early December.

Thank you so much for sending me the form. I will get started on this today.

As for the Calendar, the email is not working, but I know there is a specific link that should definitely work, though it is a little harder to get to. 

Here are the instructions to finding that link:
  1. Open Google Calendar
  2. Click Settings cog & Settings
  3. Click the "Calendars" tab at the top
  4. Click on the Preschool calendar you'd like to share
  5. In the "Calendar Address" section, copy the "Calendar ID"
This is the ID that we will be using.

Are there any events for November, or do events begin in December?

As for the myParish app, were you going to decide on that later? Right now it is a part of your homepage and is empty. 
If you want to hold off on myParish App, we can replace that area with a full width calendar (see current homepage here and scroll to bottom).

Let me know so we can have that all finished by the time of your training.
