I’ve sent you the logo in black, white and our parish colors- burgundy code # 660300 and navy blue color code # 002352.

Hello Danae,
I hope all is well with you. I’m sorry is taking me a little time to get back to you but I showed Father Josh the Screenshot of the website and he did not like the way the calendar was in the middle of the page, I agree with him. If having the calendar as a button is the only choice, it’s not our preference, but it’s better than the dates in the middle of the page. We would prefer to have the google calendar displayed at the bottom of the page as on the second image.
As for the bulletin, the button is okay, but would the button take you to just that weekend’s bulletin or to a bulletin page with other weeks as well? And can we tailor the other buttons over time to go to other pages and change them around if we want?
Also I noticed the layout of the Mass times, that looks good, but we still have the Mass times on the blue bar. Can we change that to be a jumping off point to another page?

Danae just left for maternity leave, so I apologize for the lack of response. The design portion may be slower now due to a smaller staff.
We can remove the calendar. As for adding a google iframe for the calendar, we can do that as well, though it doesn't always look good or function correctly on mobile screen sizes. It has been a month since I last checked our focus groups of Catholic parishes which allowed us to add google analytics to their sites, however, our stats are as follows. Our parishes had around 70% on mobile devices, 2% on tablets, and 28% using desktops. Please let us know if that changes your mind. We can always style calendar's cards differently if need be.
The bulletin button would be a link to an inner page that looks like this:
All of those buttons on the Homepage are editable and we will show you how during training.

Thank you so much for making such a wonderful valid point about the mobile screens! I truly forgot that this is going to be one of our main display formats for the website. Of course that would be something we need to consider, and we want the information to be accessible and convenient for our parishioners.
My concern with the calendar cards is that our Google Calendar pulls from our Scheduler system which lists the same event several times depending on the rooms that are being used for the particular event, so for example, for Faith Formation it pulls every room on campus or about 10-15 entries would be listed for the same event on the Google calendar, which I’m thinking would show on the calendar cards 10-15 times. Is there a way to control that? Or as I mentioned before to Danae, we can leave the calendar as one of the buttons like we are doing with the bulletin, and that way they can just click on it and it would take them to the complete calendar. In your experience, what do you think would work best?

I would suggest having the calendar be one of the buttons in your case then. I can see how that could get confusing in cards!
Would you like me to have the developer take the calendar off the homepage then?
As for the bulletin, yes, we can adjust how big the font is but it will probably be the same font size as the rest of the site, so there shouldn't be any issue there.
