Hi Cody I'm sorry, I didn't realize the page was not going to be 'good to go' on launch date. I guess I didn't realize it was up to me to get to the end point.
A couple of issues I see from the start- Not sure if the pop- up message with the Polar bear will disappear or that will stay? that was used in a class training but it is still showing up.
I see the photos in the top slide show on home page are not fitted correctly to show up on the Online giving page as well as Guardians needed page.They are not fitting correctly to read.
I've gotta go back and watch the videos and learn how to update etc. So with that I don't know that I will be ready to launch this Monday coming up. I need to learn more myself. I thought the site was going to be turn key and then I would be updating it as needed.

Hello Madeline,
I have changed the images on the Homepage slider so that it has text that will wrap and just an aesthetic image behind it. I have also turned off the Emergency Alert in the Alert Settings in the backend, so you should no longer see the Polar Bear.
Let me know whether we need to postpone the launch or if you are ready!

We are participating in #iGiveCatholic a fundraiser for our twinning parish in Haiti on Giving Tuesday.
With that- it involves heavy social media and frequent website updates on that day.
The date is Giving Tuesday, December 1. I wasn't sure if I would have support if needed on that important date. Or if I should wait to launch until the following week. That week I know may be tough though because I know you said Monday is the best day to launch. I have an important date on the calendar and wont be in the office that day Monday December 7, and Tuesday is December 8th a Holy Day when the office is closed.
DO you think it would be fine to launch on December 8 Tuesday if the office is closed? Basically, what are your thoughts? I am also open to launching on Wednesday or Thursday December 2 or 3 after Giving Tuesday.

It is up to you what you would like to do, but I was saying that we like to launch any day between Monday and Thursday to give us another day in the office to answer any questions. At this point, I would say that Wednesday, December 2nd or Thursday, December 3rd would probably be the best dates because it is two weeks from today and iGiveCatholic would be done on a more familiar site to those visiting and for you editing.
That is just my suggestion, but also with next week being Thanksgiving and working with OSV and GoDaddy with the Domain might be cutting things close and I would like to make sure the website is functioning well on Giving Tuesday!
So, with that, how would you like to proceed? What date sounds best to you?

I can help move somethings from the Homepage! Just let me know which things on the homepage.
As for where to upload PDFs, you can just upload them to the Media Library, then you can use a "File" block and select that document and turn on/off the different options (Download Button, Open link in New Tab) in the Button Attributes. Alternatively, you can click on the PDF item in the Media Library and select the Link in the "File URL" place and then link text on Page/Post like normal with that link.

Unfortunately, those Homepage images are set to that dimension and it works best with landscape images, however, we could change it to where the images would be set to the aspect ratio rather than that set dimensions. I removed the email from the "Contact Info" tab in the Theme Settings and that removed Terry's email from the footer. As for what to do today, I will be sending instructions in just a second for it.
