Weekly Update
Good afternoon Cathy,
Periodically we like to send our clients a recap of their project from a time & cost perspective. Initially, we had quoted a price of $3220 (46 hours x $70hr) for website creation.
We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:
- Design: 25 hours budgeted/16.6 hours used
- Build: 13 hours budgeted/1 hours used
- Content Migration: 8 hours budgeted/0 hours used
This brings our current cost to $1232.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
Thank you!

Dear Alan,
Thank you for the update.
I have a friend coming into town this weekend who has a drone. He is going to take pictures of the churches for possible use on the website. Is there anything in particular that you find to be very popular or a good fit for churches? Father Joe already said he wants the rising video of the churches, especially St. John’s dome.
Peace,
Cathy

Hi Cathy,
We typically see shots of:
- Altar, close ups
- Altar, from back of church
- Crucifix
- Tabernacle
- Open door to church
- Courtyard (when there are people)
- Arial shot of grounds
- Arial shot of spires or bell towers
Here are some examples of parishes that we have worked with:

Last, I've also got a video that I normally recommend to any drone videographers taking videos for the church: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isNqdgpOwec
The tips in this video will help with planning and timing of shots, to create the perfect final product.
I hope this helps!
