Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with Veronica, Blake, and me. We will be working to get the proposal to you as soon as possible. I also wanted to back over the temporary site and domain information. Let me know how you would like to proceed with those two items.
Domain
If you decided that a new domain would be the best option, or you wanted to transfer the domain to Diocesan that cost is $15/domain. The best resource to check if a domain name you like is available for purchase is https://www.enom.com/domains/search-results?query=cantoncatholics.org.
Temporary Site
The temporary site is a one-time cost of $200. Hosting charges will not be incurred until final site launches (not when temp site launches). You will also receive 1 -1.5 hours of training and support included in the cost. Additional training is at no cost for up to 2 weeks after launch. If there are any development changes from original design (support) will be the standard $70/hr (prorated). The landing page will be ready 2-3 days after the contract is signed and returned. Sparing you the drama, we will need a new domain. I followed the link you provided below and, as of just a few minutes ago, stmichaelscanton.com is available.
Father is leaning toward the temporary site, but wants to review the quote before making a final decision.
Father reviewed both of the sample sites you provided, likes them both, and has no particular preference. (We are already plotting how soon we could get drone video for the new site. St. John’s Church has a beautiful dome on top that only God, the angels and birds get to see.)
