New Website Changes & Approval
Hi Heather,
I finished making all of those changes you requested in your previous email. The edits can be seen on the proofs "HOMEPAGE 6" and "INNERPAGE."
Here is the link to the proofs again: http://prevue.link/6o9m
I hope these are closer to what you guys are thinking. At this point once we get design approval we can begin the development stage of the project and start building a live site for you guys. I know we still have the Stained-Glass portion of the logo to edit, but we can do that while development is going on. Once you send that on to me I can begin working on that too.
Let me know if you have any questions or anything else, and I will be happy to help! Thanks for the patience and I am looking forward to speaking with you and hopefully getting design approval soon! :)
Best,
Blake Stapleton

Hi Blake,
The newest iteration looks AWESOME! We just have a couple of questions/requests, then we will show it to the team and have final approval to you.
1. Once we have control of the site, will we be able to play with the fonts on the homepage?
2. We would like a different picture in the footer- can we change that ourselves, or is that something we need to get to you to change in the design process?
3. In the block that reads “Bulletin”- we would like to remove the & and write out the word “and”
4. If at all possible, we would like the logo moved into the back section of the main photo and off of the tabernacle
5. We would like the “Connected in Christ! Moved by the Spirit!” to be bumped down just a bit- to under the part of the tabernacle where everything converges into an “X” or “star” shape
6. Could you make us two versions with the “Connected in Christ! Moved by the Spirit!” in the current font as well as italicized?
7. Is it too much trouble to make two versions, one with the current picture, and one with the main photo not quite as “zoomed in”?
8. Will we be able to change the verbiage on the “Mass and Confessions”, “Bulletins”, “Giving”, and “Join the Parish” buttons? Or do we need to finalize that now?
9. We would like the main photo to be brought back to its original color/brightness/definition- we feel like the current photo has lost the richness, shine and definition of the original that we want.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! We so very much appreciate everything you are doing for us and are so excited about the new site!! Enjoy your afternoon!
Peace,
Heather

Hi Heather,
You are welcome! I went ahead and made the changes you asked for in the previous email. They can be seen on the prevue link now. http://prevue.link/6o9m
The edits are titled:
"HOMEPAGE 7"
"HOMEPAGE 7 NormFont"
*It's just the normal image, these ones don't have an overlay over the main image to darken the picture for the words on top of the tabernacle. *
"HOMEPAGE 8"
"HOMEPAGE 8 NormFont"
*These ones have a very transparent overlay on the main image to darken the picture a very slightly so you can read the words on top of the tabernacle a little easier.*
To answer your questions :
1. Once we have control of the site, will we be able to play with the fonts on the homepage?
- No, we try to get the fonts figured out during the design phase. It helps a lot with branding and keeps the site consistent. You can definitely change the boldness and italics for sure we just try to limit the font choices.
2. We would like a different picture in the footer- can we change that ourselves, or is that something we need to get to you to change in the design process?
-If you would like the footer image changed we can do that. If you have to see it before you can approve of the design I can through it in there for you or, to keep things moving, you can just send us the image you want there and the developers can easily handle that during build stage.
8. Will we be able to change the verbiage on the “Mass and Confessions”, “Bulletins”, “Giving”, and “Join the Parish” buttons? Or do we need to finalize that now?
-Yes we can make it so you can change the words for that area. However, the format will need to stay the same (Icon, Title, 2 lines of text) to fit with the design and keep it consistent. But we can make it so you can change the words to be what you would like it just needs to fit that format. Does that make sense?
I hope those look closer for you guys. Let me know what style you like for the main image (7, 7 normfont, 8, & 8 normfont) or if you have any questions and I'll be happy to explain more. Looking forward to hearing from you, design approval, and moving forward with the project as well. Talk to you soon! Have a great day!
Thanks!

Hi Blake,
These look phenomenal. Our group just has a few more suggestions/wishes they want to see before being able to give final design approval. I can PROMISE you that after these last suggestions, there will be no more and a decision will be made and we can FINALLY move forward. I am so very sorry for the long process that this has been. Also, thank you so much for the clear and concise answers to my questions in my previous email. So, without further ado, here are our final “asks” for the preview….
1. We like version 7, the brighter version, so all changes listed below can be made to that version
2. They would like the logo moved more to the left, if your margins permit. If not, they would like to see the tabernacle picture shifted a bit to the right so there is more black space for the logo.
3. They would like the stained glass window logo made a bit larger and would now like Catholic Church to be bolded as well. Please center Catholic Church under St. Matthew
4. The changes made in #3 above to St. Matthew Catholic Church need to be made in the priest/welcome session below
5. They would like the “Connected in Christ! Moved by the Spirit!” font changed to monotype corsova, or something close to it. They would also like to see two versions of the homepage- one with “Connected in Christ…” closer to the bottom of the tabernacle in a straight line, and another version where “Connected in Christ…” is in two lines over on the right hand side of the page, like the version of the webpage that Erin made and sent.
Once again, I am so sorry for all of this back and forth. I really, really apologize and feel awful about it. You have been such a joy to work with and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your patience and graciousness. I hope you have a great day, and just call me or email me if you have any questions.
Peace,
Heather
