Hello,

My name is Michael and I've been the builder for your site. I'm messaging to let you know that we are at the final stages of development and are ready to begin planning a training time, as well as wrap up a few details.

First things first, if you would like to visit the wesbite and take a look around you may do so at https://stmarytaylorville.org . At which point you may log in to your admin panel with the following information: go to https://stmarytaylorville.org/taylorville which will bring you to a login screen.

Using the above login credentials you can access the admin panel. Take a look around and get comfortable with how it looks and feels. At this point we can set up a time in which you would like to walk through the site and utilize all of the built in functionality.

Lastly there were a few points that I wanted to cover in order to ensure we have the site fully functional and ready to announce.
Currently we have a page set up for online donations, however, I do not have adequate information regarding how you would like this to function. Do you have a preexisting service that you have been using to process these types of payments or would you like for us to set that up?
I am in the process of setting up your non-profit Gsuite account at which point we will integrate the contact forms to send to the appropriate persons, as well as implement the calendars you indicated during the consultation.

I appreciate your time and would like to thank you for choosing to partner with Diocesan Web.If you have any remaining questions or comments feel free to contact our department by replying to this email chain, or contact us at webdepartment@diocesan.com

It looks great! I'm just the volunteer who does the basic updates on the site. Carole Harrison is a better contact for specific questions, so when you email do you mind emailing both of us? I am including her on this email so that you have her information. I am not available much in the next month. I gave her some dates to check out for training. I work and cannot be to the parish office until about 3:40 Central time to do any trainings. I hope this won't be a problem.
Thanks
Karen

Carole,
Yes I will be available at that time tomorrow Tuesday, the 28th at 3:30. I will go over the following with you and work toward curating content that will help you maintain the look and feel of your website.

-Walk through the site as it currently is.

-Discuss why certain design decisions were made.

-Walk you through making new content, as well as what constitutes good content or bad content

-Discuss an action plan for when we can launch and announce the site.

Currently we are still waiting to hear back from Google regarding the email status, but once that is through we will move forward with the calendars and the emails ending in your domain.

I look forward to our meeting and will speak to you then.

-Michael

Just want to make sure this is 3:30 Central time!
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
4:30 EST will work for me as well
FROM THE CLIENT Carole Harrison, Primary Contact, Director of Religious Education at Mary's Staff
Michael,
Can we actually make it more like 3:40? Karen can be here by then and I forgot about a previous commitment.
Carole
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
That works as well.

Michael,
Karen and I are having a few issues with the website. I was hoping you could talk us through them. Are you available on Tuesday, the 19th of June at 8:30 central time? Here are the issues:
scrolling pictures on the opening page. We have changed the pic to the church but want it to scroll to show the other churches as well, We are also having trouble with the code used to change Mass times, and finally, we are struggling with the calendar. We are using a Google calendar but having trouble linking it. Let mle know if you are available on the 19th @ 8:30 central time.

we are having a few issues with maintaining the website. we would like to set up a time to talk with you. could we talk on Tuesday the 19th at 9:00 central time? our issues are scrolling pictures in the banner on home page and the code used for adjusting mass times and linking our calendar.
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
Yes, Tuesday at 9:30 am works for me
FROM THE CLIENT Carole Harrison, Primary Contact, Director of Religious Education at Mary's Staff
thank you.
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
I went ahead and made the quick changes that we discussed over the phone. I even added a link for ministry schedule to link to your ministry page

.As far as the slider goes, there currently isn't remaining budgetary room for the slider without going into additional cost. As you're one of our existing clients we have a reduced rate for additional work at $50 an hour.
The scope of what your asking for with the slider wouldn't exceed more than an hour or two.

I hope that I answered your questions today during our call. Thank you for your time

Thanks for your help. Is this just a one time fee?
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
The fee would be based on the project scope, the slider, how long it takes, 1-2 hours, and if there are any changes to that as it's being developed. The rate of $50 an hour would be multiplied by the total amount of time necessary to meet the requirement.
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
The fee would not be recurrent, and any further charges would be resultant of further changes being made.

ok, we will check with Monsignor and get back to you. One more question that just popped up is that when we go to the "new families" tab and fill out the form...those are coming to my personal email kuntzmanfamily@gmail.com (mailto:kuntzmanfamily@gmail.com) is there a way to have that go to rkuntzman@ctitech.com (mailto:rkuntzman@ctitech.com) which is the secretary.

ALSO...we are not able to get the password reset to work going to the recovery email. It says we have to contact the google admin and we don't know any of that information. Is there a way for you to find out who set all of that up?
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
It's under contact area in the admin panel. I have taken the liberty of changing it
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
As far as google admin goes, i'll check with our content strategist.
FROM THE CLIENT Karen Kuntzman, Primary Contact, Parish Volunteer at Mary's Staff
We got the password changed!!! THANKS!
FROM THE CLIENT Karen Kuntzman, Primary Contact, Parish Volunteer at Mary's Staff
Thanks again for all of your help. Monsignor would like to have you create the scrolling picture header.

He does have some questions:
Will we have the capability of changing the pictures?
Is there a limit of the number of pictures that can scroll (meaning if today we choose 5 pictures and a month from now we want 11, is that ok?)
TO THE CLIENT Michael Clark
you will have the ability to change the pictures, the maximum number of photos is generally 5 for User Experience purposes.
FROM THE CLIENT Karen Kuntzman, Primary Contact, Parish Volunteer at Mary's Staff
Perfect, you can proceed!
