Parish Site Launched!
Good morning All,
Congratulations, your new website is now live and visible to the world!
I'm still not seeing the live site. Why is that?
The industry standard for launch changes to propagate is 0-72 hours. However, it's been my experience that you can usually see these changes within 2 hours. You will know it was successful when visiting https://stmarystpaulbr.org brings up your site.
If you can see the website on a computer or mobile device not using your parish's internet, it may be that your parish's internal server needs to be reset or may have the IP address of your previous host manually set up. If this is the case, you will have to talk to your IT person, as this is not something Diocesan can help with.
New Login Page
Although you will now go to https://stmarystpaulbr.org/bigrapidsto log in, your login credentials are still the same.
Hidden Login Hours
For security issues, we have made the website's backend inaccessible during the hours of 1:00-6:00 am. If you would prefer for us to turn this security feature off, please let us know as soon as possible.
Statistics
Since your website is now live, we have also added the ability to track your website's statistics.
Feel free to view the statistics by clicking Statistics. This will give you access to see what devices are being used, how people are finding your website, and your top pages/link.
Support Moving Forward
Support is $70/hr (prorated).
If you have any issues or questions in the future, please email us at websupport@diocesan.com or call us at 877-923-0777. You will have two weeks of free support post-launch from today.
Forms & Notifications
We set up the forms to go to someone at your organization. If you do not receive any emails, please check your spam/junk folder of that email. You can check which email it is going to in the Form's Notification Settings (Forms > Settings > Notifications). It is advised to test this yourself ASAP to make sure that the correct email is set up and that the emails are coming in. If they are going to spam, you can whitelist the address.

Please let me know if you have any questions and, again, congratulations!

Hi Ryan,
The website is viewable on my computer and also on my iPhone. But Fr. Jegar does not like the way it looks on the iPhone. He wonders if you can change that a little bit. For example, on the iPhone the left and right arrows are too close to the word adoration. And when you first come to the website, the Saint Mary logo is covering up part of the Saint Mary Saint Paul wording. He would like that changed.
It just doesn’t look as nice when you are viewing it on your iPhone, and the majority of young people probably use their phones rather than a computer to access the site.

Can you send a screenshot of what you/he is seeing. Yes, we definitely can get this adjusted its just very helpful to 'see it' in a screenshot. Thanks!

Attached are some screen shots Fr. Jegar took.
Yep, definitely can fix that. I will forward this on to the developer.

I went ahead and had a developer address the fixes you requested.
For the mass times page, this required clicking the "Fixed Width Table Cells" tab on the right side of the screen. Also when adding an image to this page make sure to add only from the media library. The image that was there had a broken link due to it likely being deleted. I added another image but feel free to swap out that image if you'd like.
Let me know how things look,

Ryan,
Sorry I just noticed something. In the School website the link to the church site is under the More tab. I thought it was going to be more easily accessible.
Can we please add it as its own tab at the top on the landing page?
Thank you.

Hey Ryan,
The colors for the parish website keep flipping. I don't know why this is happening but it is like the fourth time it randomly has changed the color scheme.

Fr. Jegar,
I have included both a designer and developer on this thread to assist you. Rest assured we will get this sorted out. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we investigate further.
Marcus and/or Danae any ideas why this is happening? (site colors are changing)
Thank you,

Hello Fr. Jegar,
I talked to our team and without a little more information, it is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Below are some questions that may help us troubleshoot since we have not seen this problem replicated.
I talked to our team and without a little more information, it is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Below are some questions that may help us troubleshoot since we have not seen this problem replicated.
- On what pages did the colors change?
- Now that this has happened a few times, were there any details that seemed like they could be connected?
- example: did you update a certain page or use a certain block or plugin and after updating the colors changed?
- When you saw that the colors changed, what colors did they become? Did they change to the same colors or different colors each time?
- Have you noticed this happening on other types of computers as well?
If you have any other details or questions, please let us know.
Thanks and God bless,
Arthur Richardson
