Good afternoon Faviola,
Periodically we like to send our clients a recap of their project from a time & cost perspective. In your case, we wanted to share where the project stands in terms of cost and what remains before your website is able to launch.
Current Cost Initially, we had quoted a price of $5,670 (81 hours x $70hr) for website creation.
We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:
Design: 30 hours budgeted/5 hours used
Build: 35 hours budgeted/40.5 hours used
Content Migration: 16 hours budgeted/4.5 hours used
This brings our current cost to $3,500.
Your web allowance will cover this cost up to $5,400.
As I mentioned in our phone call, training before launch is free and you are able to apply your remaining web allowance ($5,400 minus final cost of website) to the cost of annual hosting ($25/month or $300 billed annually).
Please note that your contract also included the cost of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) in the amount of $350 (one-time cost). I have included more information regarding Google Workspace later in this email.
Current Progress Diocesan has completed the design, development, and basic content migration phases of your website. For the website, all that remains is to schedule your free first and second training sessions. After the first training, we can discuss scheduling your launch date.
If you have additional content that you would like Diocesan to add to your website, please let us know and we can utilize several of your remaining content migration hours to set this up for you. Alternatively, you may add or update your own content anytime after the first training session at no cost.
Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
In addition to a new website, your web contract included the $350 cost of creation and set up of a Google Workspace (Google emails, drive, calendar, and more). Google Workspace for Nonprofits does not have any annual costs. If you would like to continue with this, please let us know and we can send over the information to get this process started.

We just got off the phone and you mentioned talking to your current IT company. Here is some information since you were not sure which services you may want to keep with them.
Email Can stay with your current company but is currently included in the Diocesan web proposal. ($350, one-time cost for setup of Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite.)
If you'd prefer to stay with your current company, we can remove this from the proposal.
Domain (www address) Can stay with your current company, but is currently included in the Diocesan web proposal. ($15/year for auto-renewal. The proposal includes option to either transfer domain to Diocesan or purchase a new domain.)

Hosting (editing site & security) We highly recommend keeping hosting through Diocesan so we are able to provide quick support, bi-monthly updates, and a full security suite. This is currently included in the Diocesan web proposal. ($300/year for hosting, updates, backups, basic support, and full security suite.)
If you decide not to go with Diocesan hosting, these items may be limited.
