Yoast SEO Installed & Activated

Good morning Kat & Fr. Ivan,

We have installed & activated the Yoast SEO plugin for your use. This will allow you to see your SEO score and edit the search engine page information/preview on a per page basis.

Setting Up Yoast SEO:
Since Yoast will ask for various things such as social media accounts & company(parish)-specific questions, we typically leave it to you to complete the setup.
If you have any questions about this process, or if you'd like to go through it together, feel free to let me know!

Log into the website: http://stmaryrockledge.diocesanweb.org/rockledge/
Click here and go through all 9 steps for the church.
Be sure to choose Option B for step 1 in the installation wizard.

Other Notes:
You may see the Problems (2) area of Yoast SEO's landing page (see image below). The first issue will disappear once your website is launched.
The second issue will disappear and reappear as Diocesan updates your WordPress version. In our experience, each new WordPress version update typically comes with some issues and flaws that can pose security issues. For this reason, we do not immediately update the WordPress core and instead wait until it has been out for a while.
Feel free to dismiss both of these notifications.
