Good morning Father,

Thank you very much for your patience.  I wanted to send you a quick email to give you an update.

Since our last conversation, I have been working with our sales team to finalize the proposal for your website project.  Sometimes this takes longer than anticipated, and I apologize it has taken this long.  As I was speaking with my sales team this morning, I was forwarded your email asking about an update.  

Sometime today I should be receiving the final details from my sales team.  Once I have updated your proposal, I will be able to send it right over to you.
