Good afternoon Father Bill and Kim,


To be quite honest, I am extremely excited about this project!
As a Catholic who found her best friends, a vocational vision, true joy and love in the Catholic Church during my college years, I think that this website is a huge, rewarding and life-changing step forward. While I did not attend Grand Valley State University, I found that a university with student-focused programs and a current website is so key to reaching out to young adults that are in one of the most transitional times of their lives.

Back to the real reason I am emailing you, I just wanted to go over a few things before beginning your content migration:
  • When may I begin moving your content? 
    • Is all information current? 
    • Will you be making changes before or after the website is launched?
  • Calendar IDs
    • I have found the calendars for Events/Meetings, Faith Formation, Liturgy and Music, but cannot find the calendar for Campus Ministry. Has it been deleted or is it currently set to private?
    • Once set to public, please send me the Google Calendar ID. 
  • Social Media
    • I have found two of your Facebook pages, but cannot find other social media accounts. Please send me the links to your other accounts when you have the time.
For right now, this is all I need to get started.

Hello Veronica,

Thank you for your encouragement. I am looking forward to our new website as well and I hope it will help reach more students especially.

To answer your questions (and Kim please correct me if any of my answers are not correct):

* I think you can begin moving the content immediately, as long as it will still be accessible on our old website. To my knowledge, all information on our current website is up to date. The only changes we will be making will be adding events as they come up.

* I have made the campus ministry calendar public.
* What is the Google calendar ID or where do I find that?
* We only have two Facebook pages: Catholic Student Ministries at GVSU, and Saint Luke University Parish
