G Suite Setup
Good afternoon Rose,
As a part of your website package, you requested Diocesan to set up G Suite for Education for you.
To begin this, there are a couple of things that we need before creating your new gSuite:
- Little Flower School's Tax EIN - FEDERAL ONLY
- Little Flower School's 501(c)(3) Group Exemption Letter - FEDERAL ONLY
- List of Accounts to be Moved/Created (please complete and let us you know it is completed)

Thank you Rose,
After some research, it looks like your domain has Google for the MX (Email) records, do you know about that? Have you tried signing up for GSuite before or did an IT person set it up for Google emails before possibly? I just wanted to make sure that we weren't going to mess anything up by setting up Gsuite if it was already set up before.
Other than that, Thank you for sending over the EIN and 501(c)(3) letter. Let me know when all the emails are done in the spreadsheet and we will start the process!

My understanding is that when we signed up with Diocesan for our parish website years ago, they started the process but it was never completed. We should be all ready to go when I have the list done.

Admin Privileges
Full administrators have complete access to the administrative end of G Suite. This includes faxing options, restriction setting, plus everything a user administrator can do.
User administrators can only create, edit, or remove users from G Suite.
No means that they are not admins.
As far as I can tell, other than the privileges, everything seems to be right. I will begin the G Suite process tomorrow. It does take some time for Google to verify things and TechSoup to verify things, but I will keep you updated as things are completed and let you know if I have any questions!

Good Afternoon Rose,
Update: Good News
I just wanted to send you a quick update on the status of the G Suite Setup. Right now, it is pretty much all good news since things seem to be going smoother and quicker than usual. The last thing we are waiting for right now is for the G Suite for Non-Profits to be verified, which usually takes about 1-3 days and I applied for it today, since the Techsoup Non-profit status was verified over the weekend. I am guessing that by tomorrow or Wednesday, that will be verified and the scary part is over.
What's Next
Looking ahead, with the holiday this week, and with the team here and I being out both Thursday and Friday, we will be ready to make the Email accounts next Monday at the earliest.
However, Users will need to sign in within the first 48 hours or we will have to go in and recreate the password and send the email again, which can be a little bit of a hassle for the user and us, so we like to minimize the chance of that happening. With that being said, when would be the best time for the users that you put in that spreadsheet to access their new account.
Training
We would have a brief training for the admins (currently none in the spreadsheet) to show how to edit user accounts and things like that (We can discuss this at a later time).
Full-Admin Role
A brief side-note about the Admins: a Full-admin should be reserved for your on-site IT person, if you have one, otherwise, it is not recommended to have one.
I just wanted to keep you updated on where we are with the GSuite process. The end is near!

GSuite for Nonprofits has been activated. Everything is ready to make the accounts. Let me know when you would like us to make those accounts for all user when they would be able to access their accounts within 48hours to limit the number of passwords being reset.

I'm waiting to hear about admin access. Parish is open through tomorrow, school is closed until Monday - so I'm thinking next week, but I'll let you know if I hear back differently.
Could you set up the parish emails tomorrow & then do the school next week or is it better to do it all together? Whatever works best for you.

We could create the Parish emails tomorrow as long as they will be accessing the new accounts tomorrow, otherwise, I can reset them next week when I go through and make the school ones. No problem making the church ones tomorrow. The only issue I do have is that there are a couple of new email accounts without alternate ones to send the login credentials too in the spreadsheet. Hello Rose,
You should receive an email soon with two different users, your main account for rose@littleflowerhollywood.org and Father Marek's account. The rest of the Church should receive it shortly too. If they do not, I had an email copy sent to myself, so I can forward that to an email address too if needed.

- You may need to have people enable POP access from Hotmail/Outlook or Gmail accounts, instructions here for Hotmail/Outlook and instructions for Gmail here.

The school accounts have been created! The 48-hours have started, so Wednesday Late Morning is when it will end. If someone needs their password reset just let me know, but otherwise they should have received an email from the Google Workspace Team with a link to sign in and from there it will have them create a password.
