I apologize for the delay in following up with you - the misunderstanding that someone had followed up with you earlier in the week was on my part, and I do apologize.
I left a brief message on your voicemail and summarized the following:
I was able to check with Veronica and she said that your site is 3rd in the developer's queue. He's currently working on a project, and then has one other before he begins working on your site, so she's estimating we are about 6 weeks out at this point.
In the meantime, we'll start by creating the development site on the server so that we can begin the transfer of content from the old site to the new development site. As part of that next step, Veronica will be calling to go over the site map and content with you.
The conversation regarding content migration may run an hour or so - is there a day/time that would be convenient for you for this? Please let us know.

I am sorry to have missed the call as I was with someone.

Is there anything that can be done to tighten the delay / overall time line?
Is there anything we can do to move things along at a greater pace?
I think it is fair to communicate that the timeline is beyond what was expected.
As far as a phone meeting I do have tomorrow afternoon between 12 and 3:30 pm open and Friday between 9 am and 1pm open.
Please advise if either of these timeframes could work.

Hello Danita,
I'm so sorry I haven't been able to give you a call this week, things have been hectic around here and still settling down from the holidays.
Right now, I am about to leave the office, but didn't want you to have to wait until next week to hear back from me.
I talked to the developer and it looks like we should be able to move your website's development up at least a week, if not two. The project our developer is working on is moving quickly, so that should give him time to work on yours sooner.
Additionally, when I talked to Mary, she will be able to migrate the content and fill out the tabs, columns, etc. within the same time period so that there shouldn't be any delay with getting the site out to you.
Now it's slightly off topic, but I also know that you currently use Google Suite (email) at both parishes. Do you currently or plan on displaying any Google calendars on a Calendar page within your website? If so, please let us know and we can help you out there.
Also, since we will be displayign your PDS forms on your site, who at your parish should we ask to speak to in order to get those files? Just let me know and we can get a member of our PDS support staff to work with them on that.

We do have the content you previously sent over to us. This is the content we had planned on using, but if there is a newer version, we would gladly use that one.

Let us know if there is anything you plan on removing or adding and we will reflect it in that document. The yellow highlighted page titles are the ones you did not have any content for at the time. If you now have content, please let us know.
In terms of Google Calendars, I think we should have a phone call to discuss the calendars and if they are already made, how to make them, and their IDs so that we can use them on the website.
I know we have a note of the following calendars:
- One main calendar for each church (previously planned on moving from your email to a generic "info@" email)
- Faith Formation
- PCA (Pastoral Care Area)
As for PDS, essentially what Diocesan does is have one of our PDS trainers call your PDS person (whoever is familiar/works with PDS) and our trainer walks them through how to download the HTML file version of their registration form. Then, that HTML file is sent to us and we put it on your new website.
With that in mind, I'm not sure the IT Caretaker is necessarily the person we are looking for and I'm not sure who your PDS trainer is. We simply need the name of whoever works with PDS there at the office, because they would have login access to PDS.
I know that I am often in a training, meeting, or away from my desk, so what would be the best time for me to give you a call this week?

Calendar Training
We setup a training scheduled for Friday, January 18, at 10:00 am. During this training, we will go over:
- How to create new calendars
- How to set calendars to public
- How to find calendar IDs
- How to allow other users to add calendar events
- Specific user access & their types
- How to create events
- Repeating events
- Events with locations
- Events with descriptions
- How to duplicate events
PDS Registration Forms
I just talked to our in-house PDS support staff member and he let me know that he is available whenever you are. His name is Dave Laidlaw and you may reach him by calling 877-455-9300.
If he is busy, you may be redirected to another one of our PDS support staff members. They can also help you through the process, just be sure to let them know the following information:
- Veronica with Diocesan's web department referred you (so there should be no cost for help with the HTML files)
- You need help downloading the HTML files for each of the following registration forms:
- St. Patrick Family Online Registration Form (Church Office)
- St. Patrick Religious Education Registration Form (Formation Office)
- St. Thomas Aquinas Family Online Registration Form (Church Office)
- St. Thomas Aquinas Religious Education Registration Form (Formation Office)
If they need clarification, we need the HTML file so that we can display your PDS registration forms on the new website.
Once you have these files, you can email them to us and we'll be sure to include them in your new website.

Veronica is out of the office today but I'm sure she'll take a look at the bulletin information when she returns to the office tomorrow.
When the homepage isn't reflecting newly added news posts, did you try doing a "hard refresh" of the page - that is, hitting the CTRL key and the F5 function key (top row of most keyboards) at the same time - this will force the page to reload and pull in any new information. Let me know if you still are not seeing the new posts after you try a hard refresh.

Good morning Danita,
I'm finally catching up on my emails, so I apologize for the inconvience.
I have given the code to the developer to hardcode into the bulletins page, so you should be able to see this by tomorrow afternoon.
Also, in addition to the icon in the top right going to the bulletins page, I added it as a menu item.
I added a test post and set it to category: News and it displayed on the homepage immediately. Something Mary mentioned is that you may have to refresh or hard refresh your web page before seeing the changes since your computer may be saving a memory copy of the original homepage.

I am checking back with you regarding the adjustments to our home page we
had discussed previously.
I believe you were able to narrow the first picture on the home page. We
would also like to proceed with 'skootching' the picture up to lessen the
white space on top.
We also have a Mass Times addition for the home page and it looks to be in
an area where I am unable to adjust.
We added a Saturday morning Mass for St. Patrick's . It is at 8am.
I have also noted that while the St. Thomas's App box at the bottom of the
home page does update, the one for St. Patrick's does not.
Can you look into that for us please?
