Design Approval

Good Afternoon,

I am sending this today as I believe we are ready to move this project on to development, We currently have enough pages for us to be able to finish the site and get it started for you in Wordpress.

Here are all the pages we have so you can review again.

Hello Danita,

I just wanted to reach out on this thread again to see if we were ok to move the project onto development! The approval button is ready and would have been sent on November 5th!

Thanks,

Dear Sam,

In our last conversation I had made mention of a few areas that we are particularly interested in ensuring are possible and ‘built in’ to our web design.

Therefore from the static pages that had been forwarded to us it is difficult to understand if they are included.

I am outlining here some thoughts by page presented in the design approval request.

And if the subsequent matters are not of issue, what is submitted looks doable.

General Comments/Concerns:

As we see the pages from the preview, the fonts are a bit small for our preference.

Do we understand correctly that fonts can be changed?

HOME PAGE:

Logo needs to be bigger in proportion… even if just stretched a bit.

On the top tool bar would like Resources/PCA vs Resources

Under Resources / PCA – link to other area parishes

On the Mass Times bar what would open when View More is selected?

On the Parish News segments, if clicked will they open to expand display or to associated ministry?

On the lower tool bar would like Catholic Schools vs Parish School

Under Catholic Schools – link to area catholic schools

On the lower tool bar will our FORMED subscription automatically open?

On the lower tool bar will our Live Stream site automatically open?

REFLECTION PAGE:

? … where does this fit .. or is it a layout sample only?

ABOUT US PAGE:

Would like to see a contact us opportunity where there is a menu of options/reasons to select from

e.g. order a Mass, memorial flowers for the altar, new in area, facility rental, etc.

perhaps like ministry page

MINISTRIES PAGE:

Pull down to have a subtitle opportunity, multiple picture opportunity as well as contact or referral link or even a pulldown within the pulldown

e.g. Title- Faith Formation

Subtitle- Love of life long learning

Further pulldown options Faith Formation for newly made families

Faith Formation for Children

Preschool age

School age

Youth Ministry

RCIC

Faith Formation for Adults

Young Adult

Full Nest

Empty Nest

Single

RCIA

Can a Ministries item pulldown open a page of its own?

E.g. Youth ministry is a dynamic enough ministry that it could use its own ‘home page’ so to speak where as the Altar Rosary Society would probably suffice with a simple drop down for a descriptive, current event indicator and a contact/get involved feature.

Directions

Admittedly so I am challenged by the intermittent nature of this process and I apologize for any unintended belaboring or delay.

Thank you

Good Morning,

Here are a few notes on the comments you made last week.

Homepage:
The logo is large, very large actually and you wont have to worry about it being bigger than it is, the sizes of things are just slightly smaller than they will be in the final product, its hard to explain but rest assured that the type sizes and logos are just fine as is.

Reflection Page:
This can be a template or like a posts template. It is just a frame for a basic page that is text and no images other than the heading image.

Ministries:
Yes any ministry can have its own page. You will have to discuss with our content and developer to make sure it works correctly. Also you will be taught how to control the way the content works through your site.

About Us:
I will design an option for your idea where you can choose a reason why they are contacting you, most of the time you see a drop-down menu on the form to do this. Would that work for you?

Contact Us:
With directions the map will open directly to google maps, this will allow anyone to get directions from the web or their mobile devices.

Thanks,
