Launch Instructions

To: Maggie Munyon and Tsai

Good afternoon Tsai,


I have spoken with Maggie Munyon and she has let me know that we are ready to launch their website Monday, March 29th between the hours of 9:30 am and 2:00 pm EST.

To facilitate the transition, all you will need to do is update two host records for stlawrencecatholicschool.org.  Updating the domain name will point the site to the new server.

You will need to make the following changes to your domain name host records:

Change the www and @ Host records to be A Name types that point to: 104.156.48.29By changing only the www and @ Host records, you will update the website only and not your email.

The industry standard is to say these changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.  However, it's been my experience that you can usually see these changes within 2 hours.  You will know it was successful when visiting stlawrencecatholicschool.org brings up the site seen here: https://stlawrencecatholicschool.diocesanweb.org/.

I have also copied Maggie Munyon and my web team so that they are aware of when the launch is scheduled to begin.

Again, please DO NOT LAUNCH until Monday, March 29th.
