Hi Veronica,
We have one of our people that we want to be trained to be able to attend but they are not able to join us until after 3 EST on Tuesday. Would you possibly be able to do 3 to 5 instead that day (please keep the 1 to 3 open as well because this change may not work for other 2 people)? If not can we possibly arrange another time for that individual? He is the volunteer that currently updates our old website, so we are trying to include him some way. Since you messaged me, when are we looking at launching the website? By the end of this week or by the end of the month? It is best if the staff/volunteers are given at least a week to go through the website and ask questions since after the launch, any support calls will cost $50/hr (prorated).

Hi Veronica, i spoke to Fr Ducasse and he thinks we need more time for our volunteer Roger to work on the sight plus he is hiring someone hopefully early July to work on the website as part of their duties. It may be the end of July before they are ready. Let me know if that is ok with you all. I am making changes between now and Sunday. I will send a couple questions in the morning

WordPress no longer technically supports Internet Explorer because Internet Explorer discontinued their program & support back in August 2014.
For example, you cannot update your website within the Internet Explorer browser. Internet Explorer just does not save changes, for whatever reason. 

However, since there are many parishioners and visitors that may be using Internet Explorer on their computers, we do go through and make it IE responsive, at the same time we make things mobile responsive (right before launch). 

I'll be sure to make a note of it for Kyle, the developer.

Last question for the week. We have the PDF of April Schedule under Ministries tab, but I cannot find where that is located, on a page. I created a post for July, but can you help me find the page where the Liturgy schedule is located off the Ministry tab in Word Press?

Hello Father,


The April liturgical schedule was uploaded to the Media Library, then I put that link in as a Custom Link in the menu. I have made the appropriate changes for the July schedule to now display. 

Additionally, I have typed out the instructions on how to change it for the next  month:

  1. Log into website and go to Media
  2. If you have not already, upload the liturgical schedule PDF
  3. Once uploaded, click on the file
  4. On the right side of the Attachment Details, there is a URL field. Triple click (left click) on the url and it will highlight blue
  5. Right click over the highlighted link and select Copy

  6. Go to Appearances > Menu

  7. Scroll down to Liturgy Schedule and click the arrow next to Liturgy Schedule to replace the link.
