Joseph on Capitol Hill - Washington, DC

Website Proposal from Diocesan

Hi Kelly,

I hope you are well! I am sending you the website proposal we developed for the potential site project. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, and when you approve you can sign and email the signed copy back to me. After we receive the signed proposal we can get you into the design cue. :)

God bless!
Nathalie

FROM THE CLIENT Kelly Hanlon, Business Manager at Joseph Capitol Hill Team
Good Afternoon Nathalie,
Yes, we would like to proceed with a new website design. I have signed and attached your proposal. I would like to have another discussion with your design team to make sure that we are all on the same page as to what we want. ie: capture documents for registration - this is one from the church down the street and we would want one very similar to it https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjgLYvgHTUjUQGg2Rv_k27eYJqV3rN0ZRJnSs8sfGERyHklw/viewform?authkey=CKfcsoIE&authkey=CKfcsoIE&hl=en_US&hl=en_US&formkey=dEtiLWpiemYxVU5DYzMzaTZjX1pnQ3c6MA#gid=0
I have attached a simple mock up of what we are thinking of for our website.

Also, Fr. Gurnee wants to have a new website address. Do you want us to purchase the address or will you do it? We want StJosephsDC.org (and we want to purchase stjosephsdc.com (http://stjosephsdc.com) too) and we want to keep the old one st-josephs.org (http://st-josephs.org) to re-rout people to the new site from both of those. We know it will cost more but feel that it would be important to do for a least a couple of years.

Thank you
Kelly Hanlon

TO THE CLIENT Nathalie Shultz, Web Consultant
Hi Kelly,

Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I will get this proposal uploaded. The designer will reach out within a few weeks. In regards to the form, we use Gravity Forms and we can definitely help you set up parish registration with required fields. :)

All those domain names are available (the new ones). I will send you an approval email - we can purchase the two new ones for you and renew the third for you (all $15 each). Would you like for us to initiate the domain transfer of your current domain or would you like your current domain provider to initiate the transfer? I will attach the information you need to make that decision below:

There are two ways that we can go about doing this:
  1. Provide Diocesan with your domain login credentials and we will initiate the transfer OR
  2. Your current domain owner can initiate the transfer

1. Provide Diocesan with Login
Below are the things we need for the login:
  • Login URL
  • Username/email
  • Password
Once Diocesan has initiated the transfer, you will still need to send Diocesan the Authorization (EPP) code (emailed to domain owner).  If you believe that there will be an issue with this, please let us know.

2. We Will Initiate Domain Transfer
  1. Unlock your domain
  2. Send us the Authorization (EPP) Code
  3. Send to email webdepartment@diocesan.com
  4. Diocesan initiates transfer
  5. You confirm the transfer
  6. Transfer complete!
Let me know how you want to go about transfer initiation!

Thanks!
Nathalie
