Project Timeline
Good afternoon Laura,
I am Veronica, the project coordinator with whom you spoke with during the Deep Dive portion of the consultation process.
I love to hear people say that they are excited about their new website! It definitely takes some time and work to get set up, but here at Diocesan, we pride ourselves on not only making sure that the pages are easy to update, but that you are properly trained so that you feel comfortable editing items yourself.
Here is a quick overview of the website process and timeline. Design is largely dependant on your timely response as the design meetings begin, as well as the number of projects in the design queue. Please keep in mind that holdups in design will push the rest of the project's dates as well.
After design, the process runs fairly on schedule with the only hold up occurring if content strategy has not yet been completed. For this reason, we will be reaching out to you by November 1 to begin that portion of editing.
- Content Strategy | November 1
- Design | December-January
- Development | February-March
- Content Migration | March
- Training | April-May
- Launch | May-?
I have also attached a more detailed outline of what each of these sections entails.
Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you and introducing you to the rest of our team members as time progresses.

Hi Veronica!
This is fantastic and just what I need to present at our staff meeting!
On a side note, I get the daily inspirations from Diocesan and recognize your name as one of the authors. Love getting these every day! Thank you for all you do!!!
Blessings,
Laura

Good morning Laura,
Thanks for being one of our readers! It always throws me off when people recognize my name because I almost forget that they are even published! A lot of them are written as if they are a letter to myself or my family, haha
Let me know if the rest of the staff have any questions about the timeline or process.
