Updated Website Proposal
Good afternoon everyone,
Last week we had a meeting with Linda, Cathy, and Holly regarding the website project for the school and parish. I know Marty was not able to make the meeting, so I wanted to also include the link to the website that will be serving as an inspiration to your new websites https://www.stpaulsmd.org/
The attached updated proposal breaks down the parish project as well as the school project. This will be a break down of the design, build, content development, training, and testing. I have also included a final cost for the full scope of the project. After speaking to Brian Bastic, he let me know with a new 6 year bulletin agreement the full project would be 75% covered. This note and break down is also represented on the proposal.

Sorry for the need to check back. No, except for bringing Marty to speed. Is there a mock-up of the design we can review? Once w agree, what does the process look like from that point forward?

I think explaining our process first will help with getting Marty up to speed.
Here is an overview of how our process flows.
- Consultation/Discussion - we talk and try to nail down what your desires are for your new website. Once the proposal is signed, we proceed to design your new site.
- Design - we take what we learned from our discussions and create a mock-up/wireframe of how it is going to look. If there is any feedback, we make the appropriate adjustments. After your approval, we can proceed to the actual build.
- Development/Build - A developer builds the functionality, appearance, and checks for any 'bugs' the ensure a quality product.
- Content Migration - Our Content Specialist will reach out to you shortly after you sign the proposal that was discussed in step 1 to start the conversation about how you want to organize your new site. He will work with you to help you establish what is called a 'Sitemap'. After approval for your sitemap, and the development is complete, He will migrate your content into your new site!
- Training - Our Content Specialist will train you after the content migration has been complete. There will be two trainings, about 1.5-2 hours long. Then schedule a launch when you are ready for your site to go live.
- Launch/Support - there is a period of 2 weeks where we monitor and make sure the launch went smoothly and no 'bugs' come up on the site. We give you free support for those 2 weeks and make sure you feel comfortable with your new site. After those initial 2 weeks of free support, we will still be here ready to help you. If your request is major we might need to charge for the same hourly rate however, we will still give you training videos or other forms of instruction or help with any task you might need help with.
I hope this helps give you some clarity about where we are in the process. We do not have a mock-up yet since we don't have a signed proposal. If Marty would like to meet with us too before we proceed to design, we can do that!
