As we begin the final stretch of your site build, I wanted to give you a recap of where we stand so far with the build. Initially we had quoted a price of $4,900 (70 hours x $70hr) for website creation. We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:
As we begin the final stretch of your site build, I wanted to give you a recap of where we stand so far with the build. Initially we had quoted a price of $4,900 (70 hours x $70hr) for website creation. We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:
- 20 hours for design
- 35 hours for the build process
- 15 hours for content migration (bringing your content over from the existing site and creation of new content)
Sam was able to complete the design process in 16 hours, which put us a little below budget for that section. Which is good since we ran a little over budget for the content migration process of the site. Getting your information moved over and the pages created took slightly longer than expected. Content Migration is at 20 hours. My developer, Sam Pohlman, has logged 26 hours for the site build up to this point. As Sam works on completing the build you'll be receiving a link so that you can view the status of your site to this point.
