Good afternoon!
Successful setup of the Paypal payment integration this morning so you'll now see Paypal buttons on your site - yay!  A good step forward!

Also, when you have a moment, could you send me a link to one of the pages that were loading so slowly yesterday?  I want to have the developer take a look at that.  I've also made a task request for him to adjust the ratio of the three images on the homepage that are getting cut off at the tops of the image so that should be fixed in the next day or so.

Here is the link to the page where the images are loading so slowly. You have to scroll almost halfway up before the images appear. Thank you for any help with that.

The developer thinks it may be a caching issue.

Can you try clearing your image cache in Chrome, when you have a few minutes, and let me know if anything improves?

Go to the three dots in the upper right - click on more tools, clear browsing data, then click only the "Cached images and files" box.  Then hit the blue "Clear data" button.  (Don't click any other boxes or you'll lose saved passwords, etc.)  Sometimes when you are working in WordPress on a site for extended periods of time goofy things will happen that require you to clear your image cache. 

If you try it, let me know if you see an improvement in the loading of that page.

Hello Mary,

I hope you are doing well. I have a few questions I was wondering if you could help me with.

1. The image pop-ins are still a problem. I tried it on my wife's apple using safari and had the same issues, the images are not loading until you scroll about halfway up the page.
2. How do I edit the main navigation bar on the home page?
3. How do I edit the sub-navigation bar on the shop/artwork page? I want to change the order that the categories are listed in. They are in alphabetical order now.

I'll start with the menu question - your main menu is located under Appearance > Menus.  I want to be able to send you a bunch of screenshots that you'll be able to refer back to in the future, so I'm going to just email you from our webdepartment email, I think that'll be easier.  So watch for an email in the next little bit, though my phone's been really ringing today so I'll be typing between calls...again, I'm sorry for the delay in answering!

For your last question - do you mean having your categories listed on a sidebar, rather than as a horizontal menu?  Yes, I think the theme will let us do that - I'm still learning about the theme, and all it will let us do but I believe that's an option.  I'll see if I can figure out how to change that menu style this morning, and if I'm not able to figure it out, I'll turn it over to a developer to look at.  

Also, I'm going to see if our lead developer has time to look at the page-loading delay that's happening.

Hmm - that's odd, you should be able to see that.  I'll have to do some digging to figure out why that's not visible for you, as the settings show you should have access.  

I'll work on that next, and I've asked a developer to look at the other items for us.

Good morning, Jason -
I think I (finally!) figured out what was causing the slow image loading for the site, so let me know if you see an improvement with that.  I'm now working on why you can't see the Menu area, and I'll also see about how the theme works to use a sidebar menu, rather than the top bar as a secondary menu.

I'm enjoying learning this new Theme, but I apologize for how long it's taking to figure all this out for you!  I don't usually have support tasks that take quite this long, I'm just not familiar enough with the theme that's in use to know how to make changes to it yet.  So thank you for your patience with me!
